What simulated trading is, and what it is not.

Every evaluation and reward-stage account on this programme is simulated. Here is what that means for your trading, your fee and your rewards.

Every account on this programme is simulated, from the first phase of an evaluation to the reward stage. That one fact shapes how the programme works, so it is worth knowing exactly what it covers.

What it is

  • A simulated account on Match-Trader. You trade in the browser, on desktop or on mobile. Your account is set up automatically once checkout completes.
  • The same markets on one account. Forex, indices, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies and prediction markets, on one simulated account in US dollars.
  • Trading measured against published rules. Targets, the daily loss limit, the maximum loss and minimum trading days are on the rules page for every route and account size.
  • Leverage you choose. You pick it when you buy, from 1:10 to 1:500, at the same price. Higher leverage magnifies both gains and losses.
  • Trading costs, as on a live account. Simulated trades carry a commission when a trade opens and when it closes, a price markup on some symbols, and holding costs on positions kept overnight. They come off your simulated balance, and each symbol's costs are shown on the platform.

What it is not

  • It is not a live trading account. No real money is traded.
  • It is not investment advice. The programme measures your trading; it does not tell you what to trade.
  • The fee is not a deposit. It is one fee, paid once, with no subscription and no renewal. You deposit nothing, so the most you can lose is what you paid for the challenge.

Where rewards come from

Once you have passed, your reward-stage account opens on the same simulated platform, and eligible simulated performance there can earn a reward. A reward is based on 80% of eligible simulated performance on Classic and Direct, or 90% with the Reward Split Boost, an add-on offered at checkout. That percentage is the reward split. Before your first reward is paid, you complete identity checks.

The site states the conditions like this:

Simulated trading environment only; no brokerage account is provided. Evaluation fees apply. Rewards are performance-based, not guaranteed, and subject to eligibility, verification and programme Terms and Conditions.

In plain words: a reward depends on your simulated results meeting the programme terms, and on identity, anti-money-laundering and fraud checks.

All trading is simulated. Rewards are based on performance and are not guaranteed.
